I really like the style you used for this pic, if that makes any sense. Both "petals of a rose" and "goodbye goodbye" may be my favorite farewell songs like ever, especially the line, "and even there's no grieving just a rainbow in the sky" I don't know, it just seems to say that goodbyes can have happy elements to them.
Mr. Nelson will be very sorely missed.

I have trouble taking Goodbye Goodbye out of show context where it seems more like Gobo's unhappy everyone's rushing on to the next new shiny thing without looking back or taking the time to be grateful for what they had. But your interpretation is more optimistic, for sure.

Gobo lost a piece of him and that same song you posted came to my mind as well. Also the song he sung, Good-bye Good-bye (Just a Rainbow In the Sky) - Season 2, Episode 15 (Manny's Land of Carpets).
